Simulation exercise: Foot and mouth disease in the Czech Republic

Dr Milan Malena, Director and Chief Veterinary Officer, State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic, Ministry of Agriculture, Prague, informed the OIE that a simulation exercise on foot and mouth disease (FMD) will take place from 21 to 22 June 2011 in the Czech Republic.

This simulation exercise will be conducted by the State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic in co-operation with Regional Veterinary Administrations and the Veterinary Service of the Army of the Czech Republic, with the participation of the FMD National Reference Laboratory and the Ministry of Agriculture.
