Simulation exercise: Foot and mouth disease in Peru-2

Dr Oscar M. Domínguez Falcón, Director General for Animal Health, National Animal Health Service (SENASA), Ministry of Agriculture of Peru, informed the OIE that SENASA will carry out a field simulation exercise on foot and mouth disease from 23 to 26 November 2009 in Piura city.

This exercise is called “International simulation on an occurrence of foot and mouth disease” and its aim will be to strengthen the management capacities of private and public sector professionals.
