Simulation exercise: Foot and mouth disease in Brazil-6

Dr Guilherme Henrique Figueiredo Marques, Director of Animal Health Department, Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply of Brazil, informed the OIE that a table-top and field simulation exercise on foot and mouth disease (FMD) will take place in the municipalities of Campinas y Nova Odessa in the State of São Paulo, from 25 to 29 July 2016.

This simulation exercise is part of the continuous training process of the technicians of the States of Brazil to the FMD Contingency Plan as well as the compliance with the guidelines stated in the National Programme for the Eradication and Prevention of FMD.
