Simulation exercise: Avian pests in France

Dr Isabelle Chmitelin, Delegate of France to the OIE, has informed us that a simulation exercise is organised on 18 December 2003 in the Côtes d’Armor Department (Region of Britanny), within the framework of the “avian pests”.

In particular, this includes the euthanasia of two flocks of 10,000 old layers by various methods.
