Case definition for infection of bovines with influenza A viruses of high pathogenicity in poultry

For the purposes of notification to WOAH, a case is defined as an infection of bovines with influenza A viruses of high pathogenicity in poultry as defined by the WOAH Terrestrial Manual Chapter 3.3.4. For the purpose of this case definition, ‘bovine’ means an animal of the species Bos taurus.
