The Communication Unit, established in 2001, optimises awareness and understanding of the OIE and its mandates. The Unit facilitates the transparency of scientific animal health information and publicises the many activities of the OIE, making them accessible to all by means of tools adapted to suit various audiences, ranging from the general public to animal health professionals.
