Contagious agalactia
Recommendations for the importation of sheep and goats
Veterinary Authorities of importing countries should require the presentation of an international veterinary certificate attesting that the animals:
showed no clinical sign of contagious agalactia on the day of shipment;
were kept since birth or for the six months prior to shipment in an establishment where no case of contagious agalactia was officially reported during that period;
were kept in a quarantine station for the 21 days prior to shipment.
