Monitoring movement control

The movement of animals and animal products is a major contributor to the spread of animal diseases. The World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) develops international standards for animal movement control, including quarantine and border security measures. These are crucial to control the spread of diseases within a territory and across countries. Monitoring movement control can bring valuable insights for both WOAH and WOAH Members.
