Simulation exercise: Avian influenza in Austria

The Austrian Ministry of Health and Women informed the OIE that a simulation exercise on avian influenza will be conducted in the Federal Province of Burgenland on 25 October 2005.

Participants are official veterinarians of district, province and federal level. Main emphasis of the exercise will be laid on operation of contingency plans and on communication.
