Join us for this stimulating event during which the Observatory programmes of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), the Codex Alimentarius Commission  and the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat will be presented.

During this joint event, our expert speakers will discuss the latest developments in measuring the uptake of the international standards set by the ‘Three Sisters Organisations’ recognised by the WTO Agreement on the Application of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (the “SPS Agreement” ). They will also share their insights on how we can best work together to monitor the implementation and impact of international standards.   

A highlight of the event will be showcasing the first Annual Report of the WOAH Observatory, which includes analysis based on: 

  • WTO data, such as animal health related SPS notifications and disputes  
  • Regionalisation  

The event will take place on the margins of the SPS Committee meeting. The target audience of this event is WTO Members but other interested parties are welcome to attend. Do not miss this opportunity to hear directly from our teams and ask your questions.
