Veterinary Legislation Support – Mauritania

The mission was requested by the Mauritanian authorities in a letter dated February 02 2010, and initiated by the Director General of WOAH in letters dated August 26 2010 and November 05 2010 (see appendix 14.1).

Consistent with the PVS assessment carried out in January 2008 and the gap analysis report of January and February 2010, it forms part of the general framework of support that WOAH can provide to its members for the development of their veterinary legislation.
