WOAH Standards, Guidelines and Resolutions on Antimicrobial Resistance and the use of antimicrobial agents

To further support our Members in the implementation of WOAH standards and guidelines, we have compiled all standards, guidelines and recent WOAH Resolutions related to AMR in this booklet for easy reference. We hope that you will find this third edition of the WOAH Standards, Guidelines and Resolutions on antimicrobial resistance and the use of antimicrobial agents useful. Further information on our AMR work programme can be found on WOAH’s website and the communication materials we have developed on prudent use of antimicrobials for food-producing and companion animals are available on a dedicated webpage, with guidance not only for competent authorities, but for all other relevant stakeholders, including the general public, because we all have a role to play in tackling antimicrobial resistance.
